Virgo ♍ | The Body • Fascia • Minerals Guide 23 August – 22 September
Virgo has arrived and if you are a Virgo, you will probably already have noticed the little details that everyone else has missed!
Virgos are often described as practical, organised, analytical and observant. They like to understand how things work and can have a natural ability to spot when something is not quite right. Sometimes, though, that attention to detail can mean the mind is always busy analysing, organising and trying to put everything back into order.
But what does all this have to do with Tissue Salts?
Meet Virgo's Tissue Salt — Kali Sulph #7
In traditional tissue-salt and zodiac systems, Virgo is associated with Kali Sulph, also known as Potassium Sulphate.
Kali Sulph has traditionally been associated with the body's cells, skin and mucous membranes, and historical tissue-salt literature also discusses its relationship with oxygen processes within the body.
Now, before anyone starts thinking this means every Virgo needs Kali Sulph
absolutely not!
This is simply a fascinating traditional connection between the zodiac and the old tissue-salt system. Your star sign is not a diagnosis, and choosing a tissue salt should never replace appropriate medical advice.
But I do think it gives us an interesting way of looking at the 12 Tissue Salts.
The Virgo connection
Virgo is traditionally associated with being practical and methodical — always processing information and trying to make sense of the world around them.
Kali Sulph has its own interesting place within the traditional tissue-salt system, particularly in discussions around the skin, surface tissues and mucous membranes. Historical descriptions also associate it with symptoms that are considered to be in a later or changing stage.
Whether you are a full-on Virgo who loves a spreadsheet and has a cupboard organised by colour, or you simply enjoy exploring the connection between astrology, the body and minerals, Kali Sulph is Virgo's traditional Tissue Salt.
A little thought from me...
What I love about this whole Tissue Salt and Zodiac journey is that it gives us another way to explore the body.
The 12 Tissue Salts have been discussed for many years, while astrology has been connecting personality, symbolism and the zodiac for even longer.
Are they scientifically linked?
That's a different question entirely.
But as a Body • Fascia • Minerals exploration, I find the traditional connections fascinating — and I think learning about our bodies should be interesting, not boring!
